Honestly can’t say enough good things about Vancouver Direct Primary Care. I switched over after being frustrated with the usual 10-minute rush-you-out-the-door appointments, and it’s been a totally different experience. The visits are actually long enough to talk through what’s really going on instead of just slapping a band-aid on my symptoms. We dug into root causes for stuff I’d been dealing with for years, not just “here’s a prescription, see you in 6 months.” Also got real help with weight loss, like an actual plan tailored to me, GLP-1, food conversation and plan, and work with an exercise coach in his office. Nice to feel like a person and not a number on a schedule. If you’re tired of feeling rushed through appointments and want a doctor who actually has time for you, I’d 100% recommend giving them a try.

The staff is welcoming, engaged, and thorough. Communications are easy, and the staff is responsive. The monthly cost is reasonable. And I’ve been impressed with them offering weight loss support, and E.D. Support. On overall stellar first year experience as a newer patient.

I can't recommend Ed Kauffman and Vancouver Direct Primary Care highly enough. I became Mr. Kauffman's after more than ten years with my previous physician, when I unexpectedly had to find a new doctor. I was anxious about starting over, but from our very first conversation, Mr. Kauffman made me feel heard, respected, and genuinely cared for. What sets his practice apart is the level of accessibility and personal attention. He takes the time to listen, answers questions thoughtfully, and never makes you feel rushed. I always felt like I was talking to someone who truly cared about me as a person, not just another patient on a schedule. Over the past three and a half years, he has consistently provided compassionate, thoughtful care, and I honestly didn't know this kind of doctor-patient relationship still existed. He helped make a very difficult transition to a new provider very easy, and for that I'll always be grateful. I've recently relocated and so I had to establishe care locally, so I'm leaving the practice only because of the move. If I still lived in Washington, I wouldn't hesitate to remain a patient. I have been going to VDPC since February, and I'm really happy going there. Ed Kauffman is a great provider who genuinely cares about his patients. He's professional, friendly, and easy to talk to. I always felt listened to and supported. I highly recommend going here for quality Healthcare.

This is what primary care is supposed to be: attentive, responsive, and personal. As a relatively healthy person, I used to float around urgent care centers “as needed”, but this clinic’s model makes it more affordable - even with insurance - to consolidate my care, and incentivizes me to schedule appointments more regularly, when I previously wouldn’t due to cost. The biggest draw is Ed; super compassionate, great listener, and genuinely interested in his patients’ quality of life. Scheduling is easy, most interactions I can do in-app - highly recommend this clinic and Ed’s team!
